The News Letter: Issue #009

FUN TIMES AT THE EXCITEMENT FACTORY.

As the (old) kids say, "it's happening!

The back wall is finally coming down and the emergency exit is finally going in, paving the way for final inspections and our long (long) awaited Soft Opening.

Exact dates are still in flux, but it's closer than ever now, and after a year of many (many) stops and starts, that's about as good as it gets.

More details and unveilings to come shortly, but for now, please enjoy these exciting (to us at least) photos of the bane of our existence getting demolished by the friends of our friends at Silver Lake Construction Co.

(Oh, and stick around to the end for even more good news!)

GOOD NEWS PART 2.

The Newsagent's is hiring retail associates and baristas

Have you ever heard the expression "good things come in twos"? No? Well, we're coining it, because it just so happens to be true in this one instance.

Now that we've broken down our literal barrier, it's time to staff up, which is where you come in. We need your help!

Apply, spread the word, share this post, tell a bird -- whatever makes sense.

We're looking for shop associates, preferably with a decent amount of retail experience, but more importantly with a staggering amount of appreciation for books, movies, music, comics, culture, and art.

We're also in need of a few fine baristas to help us craft the World's Best Average Joe. Sound like you? Sound like someone you know? Sound like a bird you know? Tell it!

Birds are awesome.
